My most ambitious dish yet:
It’s mostly just sashimi chopped up small, but it does involve sushi rice, tamago and shitake mushrooms stewed in mirin. It’s yummy.
By the way, did anyone else know about the chicken sashimi?! I inadvertently bought some raw chicken maki the other day. I ate one, realised what it was, decided it was too late now and, as I’d already eaten one, I may as well finish them all. It was actually quite tasty, but I’m not sure my stomach is strong enough to actively seek it out in the future.
