iPhone

I will have one, I WILL! If it takes me the rest of my life and costs me my soul*.

As you may be aware, I can’t have the iphone without a credit card.  Well yesterday I found out I can’t have the credit card without a phone.  No, I’m not kidding.

Fortunately, Skype is a truly wondrous invention that my subconscious was aware of, even if I had forgotten. For the first time in my life, I actually dreamt the solution to a problem in a clear and easily interpretable form (it was a fairly basic wish fulfilment dream where I logged onto Skype and bought myself a number).  I remembered my dream about 10 minutes ago and now I have a fully functioning Japanese phone number with which to try again for the credit card. Let’s see what hurdle they throw in my way now!

*actually, I think that may already be part of Apple’s Ts&Cs…

About Nell

I am a researcher in bionanotechnology currently living and working in Tokyo. I moved out here nearly three years ago, against my better judgement but in search of adventure. It has certainly been an adventure and not one I would have missed for the world. I am trying to retrain as a designer and you may see the odd example of my work appear here as I progress. I also indulge in opinionated rambling.
