Ok, the gist of the comments so far seem to be there’s nothing wrong with the concept of “Don’t write off people who don’t shine straight out of the box. Given the opportunity to reach their full potential, we could be missing some real stars. My achievement has been figuring how to reach my full potential (whatever that may be) and I’ve done some cool stuff along the way”. It really isn’t written very well though and definitely needs a rejig.
It has also been suggested that adding something about using that knowledge to help others reach their full potential might be good, however, I think there may be a better place for that under some of the other headings. I will have another bash tomorrow and maybe do some other questions as well. I would have done it tonight but I spent 4 hours on the phone…
