Today’s TED gem

If anyone has any idea how he does any of this I’d love to know… I have watched and watched the hand trick at the start of the video and the best I can come up with is that he swaps while the camera is cut away from him but that doesn’t explain how he fooled an entire live TED audience. The hand raising or lowering thing, I have an idea to do with the length of time someone will wait before moving anyway being roughly the same for everyone combined with some light suggestion to get both people in the same ball park. The voodoo, car and cup tricks I can’t even begin to think of a way! Good show :)

Then, when you’ve watched that, here’s is a prime Fox News Muppet indulging in some prime time Muppetry. Glen Beck, what a goon:

About Nell

I am a researcher in bionanotechnology currently living and working in Tokyo. I moved out here nearly three years ago, against my better judgement but in search of adventure. It has certainly been an adventure and not one I would have missed for the world. I am trying to retrain as a designer and you may see the odd example of my work appear here as I progress. I also indulge in opinionated rambling.
