Christopher Maloney: meet the Streisand effect.

“The Net treats censorship as damage and routes around it” – John Gilmore.

Christopher Maloney is a naturopath in Maine. He calls himself a doctor and prescribes garlic capsules as a cure for H1N1. This is bad, but worse, when Michael Hawkins dared to criticize him on his blog, Maloney complained to WordPress and got the blog removed.

Christopher Maloney, this is the Streisand effect. Streisand effect, this is Mr Maloney.

About Nell

I am a researcher in bionanotechnology currently living and working in Tokyo. I moved out here nearly three years ago, against my better judgement but in search of adventure. It has certainly been an adventure and not one I would have missed for the world. I am trying to retrain as a designer and you may see the odd example of my work appear here as I progress. I also indulge in opinionated rambling.
