About Me

If you found me searching for the lyrics to the children's song, you can find them here.
I am a researcher in bionanotechnology currently living and working in Tokyo. I moved out here nearly three years ago, against my better judgement but in search of adventure. It has certainly been an adventure and not one I would have missed for the world.
I am trying to retrain as a designer and you may see the odd example of my work appear here as I progress.
I also indulge in opinionated rambling.

#ge2010 The Lib Dems flip flop, and I like it!
The Liberal Democrats have been accused of flip flopping. Putting to one side for the moment the fact that the alleged flip flop in the Mail article is actually nothing of the sort and they have gone past spin and into actual … Continue reading

On polls and the internet.
I have noticed something interesting. All the polls show the LibDems slipping back slightly after their huge gains 3 weeks ago and it’s starting to look more like we’re in for a minority Conservative government with close enough to a … Continue reading

I just counted the coins in my purse, and I have 777 yen. These are the small things that make me happy. I’ve just started the last 2 weeks of my art course so I’m a bit too busy to … Continue reading
